In 2004 (I think) I ran a little public survey of the then New 3rd Party races around at that time. These are the results.

Category A - "Would like to Play"

Races you would most look forward to playing and consider would be "Fun to play"

Frankly? - 6 races seem to dominate in this category. For a while they swapped occasional places but as time wore on, the differences stretched a bit, and "Spidermen" seem to have made their interests known?

There seem to be just the two main "front runners" in this category? Again - they've swapped places occasionally during the process and they're pretty much inseperable - it seems? They even swapped places in Set 1 and 2

Category C - "Should NOT be in the Game"

Races you would not like to see in the game.

This was the "tricky" one! I guess most people who voted here had a point they wanted to make?
They didn't always add anything constructive - but then again - if you just plain don't like something - what can one say?
Sadly the ISA kind of streaked ahead - which I think is a shame - as a graphics guy I like the look of their ships!
