Lynne just came up with the following idea:
A ship which has an
area-effect Luck effect. Trouble is - is it good or bad
luck?
[Possibly come in pairs, Good and Bad, need to be near each other -
but I think that's too complicated]
This ship, once captured and in
your fleet, enhances... or wrecks... you fleet's effectiveness. (This could
be a number of stat effects, like +/-100% attack bonus, extra / reduced
damage, half / double shields etc.) Trouble is, you don't know whether it
will be good or bad before the battle, and it changes from turn to turn,
randomly.
Could be useful as a last-ditch thing to throw in a fleet when
you are definitely going to lose anyhow!
